Willis Networks adds six new members

IBR Staff Writer Published 18 February 2011

Insurance broker Willis Group Holdings has added six new members to its alliance with local, independent insurance brokers in the UK called Willis Networks.

Willis Networks is made up of the Willis Commercial Network (WCN), which represents larger independent brokers and Willis N2, representing smaller provincial brokers.

The three insurance brokers added to the WNC include: Liverpool-based Powell Bateson, Kent-based Portcullis Insurance Brokers and Shropshire-based Kingsland Robart & Co.

The other three new Willis N2 members are Cheshire-based Britannia Consultants Services, West Midlands-based ASJ Insurance Services and Edinburgh-based Ifaeye.

Willis Networks managing director Phil Scarrett said that the steadily growing membership shows the continuing strength and relevance of the Willis Networks community to those who wish to expand and develop their businesses.

"From start-ups to established names and brokers who have left consolidators, we offer sales support, training and access to our global resources," Scarrett said.
