USG Insurance Services appoints new property broker

USG Insurance Services, a Florida-based wholesale broker of commercial insurance, has appointed Douglas MacLachlan as new property broker, out of the Palatine, Illinois location.

MacLachlan most recently held a position as a property broker with Travis-Pedersen and Associates where he worked for over 12 years in the Chicago area.

While working at Travis-Pedersen & Associates, he earned his CPCU with the associates in surplus lines in 2001. MacLachlan joined the USG team to assist in the growth of the USG National Property Unit.

MacLachlan specializes in a wide range of business classes including habitational, retail, manufacturing, plastic workers, municipalities, and institutional and service industries.

USG has 14 offices, nationwide, offering problem solutions for hard to place commercial insurance coverages.

This move is the most recent change that USG has implemented in its plan to expand operations nationwide and continue to provide innovative solutions for the risk management industry.
