Heath Lambert hires new head of Scottish operations

Heath Lambert, a UK based independent insurance adviser and broker, has appointed Alan Carnegie as new managing director of its operations in Scotland.

Carnegie's role will include looking after Heath Lambert's established operations in Aberdeen and Edinburgh, as well as identifying opportunities for expansion and growth.

Carnegie has over 25 years experience in the insurance sector and will join Heath Lambert from Marsh, where he was head of office in Aberdeen.

Prior to that Carnegie held various branch management and sales roles around the UK. In recent years, he looked after major clients in the higher education, construction, paper, ports and offshore industries.

Heath Lambert National managing director Tom Ernoult said that the company has exciting and ambitious plans for the company in Scotland.

"He has a first class reputation in the market and has the ideal experience and expertise to drive growth and develop our business in the region," Ernoult said.
