EPIC appoints new vice president in Petaluma, California

IBR Staff Writer Published 12 January 2011

Edgewood Partners Insurance Center (EPIC ), a retail property, casualty and employee benefits insurance brokerage, has appointed Adam Heher, a North Bay business professional, as vice-president in the company's Petaluma, California office.

In this new role, Heher will be responsible for all aspects of developing and growing a book of business including the acquisition of new clients and the design, placement and management of commercial insurance and risk management programs.

Heher will work closely with EPIC North Bay principals Bill Merget and Mike Ryan as a key member of their growing production team.

Previous to EPIC, Heher has spent 15 years in building and managing his own business as president and owner of Wingspan Services dba Swisher Hygiene a commercial hygiene services company.

Prior to founding Wingspan, Adam spent two years with financial services consultant PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Merget said that Heher is an exceptional business person and strong client advocate with a thorough understanding of how to identify and manage a broad range of business risk.

"Adam is well connected and highly regarded in the local community and is exactly the kind of smart, aggressive, innovative professional we want to further build EPIC around," Merget said.
