Confie acquires three insurance brokerage units in US

ABRY Partners portfolio firm Confie has acquired three insurance brokerages in the US, for an undisclosed sum.

The acquired brokerage units include Most Insurance in Tampa, Florida, as well as Fair Price Insurance in The Bronx, New York state, and Duane Sammons Insurance Center in Bellingham, Washington state.

Founded in 1973, Most Insurance provides personal auto/home and small commercial insurance services. It has three locations in the metro-Tampa area, including Armenia, Fish Hawk and Dade City.

Fair Price Insurance offers specialty auto insurance services, allowing Confie to expand its operations in Bronx area.

Duane Sammons Insurance provides personal and small commercial insurance lines services in Bellingham region. It has been offering insurance services in the region, since 30 years.

Confie CEO Valeria Rico said: "We are very pleased to begin the New Year with these exciting additions to the Confie family of companies.

In October 2015, Confie acquired four insurance brokers with locations in Alabama, Western New York, and Florida.

The acquired brokerages comprise of TS Insurance Group, Schmitt & Kraft and Dunlap & Bajak independent insurance agencies, as well as All Florida Insurance Group.

Founded in 2008, Confie provides personal lines and small commercial insurance services to its customers.
