IBR Staff Writer Published 01 September 2015

US-based insurance brokerage and risk management services firm Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (AJG) has acquired Missouri-based National Administration Company (NAC) for an undisclosed sum.

Established in 1987, NAC is a national program administrator, which provides affinity group and association products and services across the US.

Specialized in the formation and management of associations, the firm offers administration services, insurance benefits, and legal, regulatory and compliance standard expertise for its customers.

Under the leadership of Gallagher's North American affinity operations head Kevin Garvin, NAC's Dale Turvey and his team will continue to operate from their Chesterfield location.

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. chairman, president and CEO J. Patrick Gallagher, Jr., said: "NAC is highly-regarded for its depth of expertise in association management, administration, and regulatory and compliance services.

"Their ability to assist associations in building out a suite of insurance and non-insurance products and their knowledge of the affinity insurance space make them an outstanding addition to our US affinity operations.

AJG provides client service capabilities in around 140 countries through a network of correspondent brokers and consultants.
