Arthur J Gallagher acquires US retail broker Mortgage Insurance Agency

Arthur J Gallagher & Co, a Illinois-based insurance brokerage and risk management services firm, has acquired retail insurance broker Mortgage Insurance Agency.

Established in 1993, Mortgage provides commercial property/casualty and risk management services to their clients throughout the US.

The retail insurer Mortgage also specialize in state licensed surety bonds, errors & omissions, and fidelity bond coverages for their mortgage broker and mortgage banker clients nationally.

Arthur J Gallagher said that David Jackson and his associates will continue to operate in their Crystal Lake location under the direction of Thomas Gallagher, Midwest regional manager of Gallagher's retail property/casualty brokerage operation.

Arthur J Gallagher & Co chairman, president and CEO Patrick Gallagher said mortgage industry is a wonderful complement to the organization, and welcome David and his team to the growing Gallagher family of professionals.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
