Alliant Insurance appoints new first vice president for Florida office

IBR Staff Writer Published 23 March 2011

Alliant Insurance Services, a California-based specialty insurance brokerage firm, has appointed Michael Rosenberg as first vice president in the firm's Fort Lauderdale, Florida office.

Rosenberg will be responsible for production and business development in both the private and not-for-profit sectors, including accounts in the healthcare, real estate, and entertainment industries.

With more than 20 years as an employee benefits broker, Rosenberg will join Alliant after serving as director of the employee benefits division of a major insurance brokerage firm and was its South Florida practice leader.

Previous to this, Rosenberg was vice president and sales director for Brown & Brown in South Florida for three years and senior benefits consultant for Arthur J Gallagher & Co in Florida for 11 years.

Alliant chairman and CEO Tom Corbett said that besides his extensive experience as a benefits broker serving diverse clients, Michael Rosenberg is highly knowledgeable about the South Florida market and will be a valuable asset in expanding the business in this key area.
